This “pull art” creation depicts a world divided and separated, in need of patience, forgiveness, and solidarity. Deprived of access to grass, the artist has created her own from found materials inside the prison – complete with “keep off” sign, marking the boundary – a Psalm and prayer her offering to the viewer: gently pull the mechanical heart to move the dove and spread peace.
